The JR‑014 V14 uses the identical ultra‑compact RMS body as the V13, but switches the reticle LED to green. Green dots are preferred by many shooters because human eyes perceive green light more brightly than red at the same LED power, and green dots can appear more natural in daylight conditions.

Green dot reflex sights offer an alternative aiming color to traditional red dots. The human eye's peak photopic sensitivity is in the green wavelengths (around 555nm), meaning a green dot can appear brighter than a red dot of equivalent LED intensity. Some shooters find green less fatiguing during extended use. The V14 shares the ultra‑compact RMS footprint of V13 — only the LED color and lens coating (silver vs red) differ.
